PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) is adjusting Non Bus Rapid Transit service on Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang via Cikini (5M) route starting April 29, 2025. This adjustment applies to the stop in Simpang Matraman, East Jakarta.

Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Head, Ayu Wardhani stated, the adjustment is being made to support the construction of LRT Jakarta Phase 1B on Velodrome-Manggarai route.
"Due to the construction work, the Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang via Cikini (5M) will temporarily skip the Simpang Matraman bus stop," he asserted, Wednesday (4/30).

"It is hoped that customers can adjust their stopping point while the project is underway," she said.
For information, the Kampung Melayu-Tanah Abang via Cikini route serves a total of 66 stops. This route is operated by low-deck buses with a floor height of 110 centimeters, offering improved accessibility for elderly passengers, people with disabilities, and wheelchair users.
The 5M route operates daily from 5 AM to 10 PM. According to data, the route serves around 3,966 passengers per day.
